Music museum takes first step toward reality

The Acadiana Center for the Arts is seeking interested parties to take the first step in converting the old hardware store downtown into a music museum.

The agency has issued a request for qualifications that is seeking firms interested in handling all aspects of development, design, contracting, construction and implementation of building the Louisiana Music Museum at the building at 121 W. Vermilion St., the ACA announced Wednesday.
