In perhaps his most Trumpian act to date, Elon Musk just banned the accounts of several prominent tech journalists covering the billionaire's mismanagement of the platform.

Musk falsely claimed that the journalists violated Twitter's new anti-doxxing policy. Not only is this untrue, but Musk himself has targeted former Twitter staff — such as the former head of trust and safety — to the point where those targets were forced to flee their homes due to death threats and harassment. Musk also blocked links to Mastodon, the nonprofit social-media site many users have fled to since Musk took over Twitter.
