Dear John,

Since today is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (and my birthday) I wanted to share a special story with you. 

In December 2015, my brother Christian was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Over the coming days, the weight of his diagnosis became real. He wondered how he would cope? Who would take care of his family?

But though his body was failing, this disease could not touch his spirit. He turned to Our Lady for help, taking a pilgrimage to Lourdes in France for healing and hope. You can learn more about his story by clicking on the video above.

Like Christian, let's put our own hopes and prayers for healing into the hands of Our Lady, today and every day.
