I really enjoyed the time building this rocket, because it has an “engineered” feel to it in the way the parts go together. I found it to be far more relaxing than I had anticipated based on how complex the rocket first appears when you see a photo of it.
And finally, setting up the actual launch with the four motors in the booster stage, and the electronically ignited upper stage motor seemed a lot more exciting than a traditional rocket.
Again, I’d term it as "manageable complexity.”
It does have some challenge to it, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for the rocketeer that has flown dozens of other rockets.
The process definitely gives the launch an extra amount of anticipation, but I think that makes the exhilaration of seeing it fly so much more than other rockets.
It is hard to describe the elation and satisfaction that comes from a successful flight.
I find I want to fly it at every launch, but then launching other rockets would feel like a let-down.
