I’m honored to share the September cover of Golf Digest with you. I’m particularly humbled by the fact that this is the ‘Nice Guys’ issue. I’ve always tried to honor my parents and my family by being the best person I can be, so a recognition like this is a real tribute to the values they instilled in me.

I’m also excited that my cover is dropping at a time when my game has never been stronger. The recent success I have experienced, including my back-to-back wins and qualifying for the US Presidents Cup team, is the result of a lot of trust and hard work from my team, and specifically for this issue, from my coach, Boyd Summerhays. We have shared many of the keys to our success in the instruction feature in the magazine. And on Golf Digest+, my cover story is a multimedia digital experience so you can both read about and watch video of me hitting all of my favorite shots.
I head into this week’s Tour Championship in 8th position for the FedEx Cup. I’m feeling hopeful and optimistic that I can make something special happen at East Lake, to cap off what has already been an amazing season. I hope you feel the same way about your game soon, too.
