Investment Alert

Dear Reader,

It’s Ryan Clarkson-Ledward here, editor of Australian Small-Cap Investigator.

2020 was a big year for ASI readers.

At last count, we managed to secure an impressive 20.2% return across the entirety of our buy list for the year.

A stellar result compared to the Small Ordinaries benchmark. Which, in the same time frame, delivered a rough return of 7.4% for the year.

Suffice to say, we smashed the market in 2020.

I don’t normally like to compare the entire buy list with the entire market though. The reason is because my recommendations aren’t designed to be a ‘portfolio’.

Rather, my job is to hunt out and recommend the most exciting small-caps in the market right now. Then, it’s up to you whether you invest or not, based on your own conviction in the story or further research. We will continue in this vein. That’s my pledge to you.

In our buy list, we had some standout winners in 2020. We had some losses, too. That’s the nature of the volatile small-cap sector. But the fact that we can legitimately say our overall gain was over 20% for the year is pretty impressive.

And this is why I’m writing to you today.

2021 is setting up to be an exciting year for small-caps…

A COVID vaccine is rolling out in various forms across the world.

We should begin to see economies truly open up again.

Biden is now in the White House. And we know what that means: Stimulus. Stimulus. Stimulus.

Where will much of that money go?

Markets, most likely.

In the latter months of 2020, I said this was a ‘stock picker’s market’.

It is so now more than ever.

Find out how I can help guide you through it, right here.

Kind regards,
