N.J. high court: Divorce isn't grounds for termination
The New Jersey Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that employers cannot legally fire an employee for divorcing. The ruling upholds a 2014 appeals court decision that states an EMT was wrongfully terminated because his employer worried a work-related affair would cause an "ugly divorce."

About one-fifth of NASA's engineers and fewer than a third of its scientists are women, says NASA Deputy Administrator Dava Newman. Progress has been made, but advanced math and science classes need to be designed with gender disparities in mind, and girls need to see women in the profession.
