Las Vegas high-rise sales are at their lowest since 2020, with only 499 units sold through the third quarter, yet prices have reached record levels. MGM Signature led sales with 29 units, followed by Palms Place and Trump Las Vegas with 15 each. The Waldorf Astoria had the top sale at $8.5 million.

President-elect Trump's economic policy shifts may include tax cuts, deregulation, tariffs, deportation and a focus on energy independence. Analysts believe his fiscal policies could influence the trajectory of employment, inflation and more, and that some policies, including tariffs, would be inflationary. "Ironically, this would not promote a revitalization of the industrial sector," said Marcus Noland, executive vice president and director of studies at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, who has estimated that Trump's policies would slash U.S. GDP by between $1.5 trillion and $6.4 trillion through 2028.

AI is expected to play a significant role in social media platforms in 2025, with companies like Meta enhancing their generative AI offerings on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Meta plans to integrate AI-generated content more prominently by encouraging users to create and share AI-generated images. Meanwhile, Instagram will likely introduce AI-enhanced filters to modify existing photos and videos. TikTok is also exploring AI through in-video search features and AI-enabled shopping, aiming to improve user engagement and monetization.
