National home improvement chain files for bankruptcy, sells to rival
True Value, the Chicago-based 75-year-old hardware store chain, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will sell "substantially all" of its business operations to industry rival Do It Best Corp, the company announced Monday.
