NBN Co has announced a "pause" in new orders for HFC services as it scrambles to put together a remediation program for existing and future users of its service challenged HFC network.

For Stephen Withers, who was getting about 60% of the expected performance on his top tier HFC NBN connection, three service calls later he reports that performance is now approaching the expected level.
