The postponement of HFC connections to the NBN by between six and nine months will mean a revenue hit of about $50 million and a possible delay in about $500 million of revenue, the NBN Co says.

Meanwhile, NBN Co chief executive Bill Morrow has claimed that some of the problems that led to the postponement of connecting customers to the network through HFC only surfaced recently as the volume of customers who were connecting rose in number.
