To date, we have financed projects focusing on sustainable blue economy with up to EUR 54.52 million. In our new digital leaflet, we explain why oceans and coastal ecosystems are so important, and also showcase our support to this area through projects and programmes.

Did you miss our events in COP28?

This year, we organised three events in the Nordic Pavilion. We talked about climate finance and gender equality, how to mobilise private investments to climate adaptation and about the relevance of investing in the blue economy.

We are recruiting!

We are looking for an Environment & Social Safeguards Lead Specialist to coordinate NDF’s work in this area.

The key responsibilities are to oversee the overall compliance with the ESS policies and lead the continuous improvement of NDF’s ESS policies, manuals and procedures. The role includes also providing advice to NDF’s portfolio team in ESS-related matters.
