Staffers heading in for another day of work at the FCC were greeted with a surprise this morning:

A giant billboard truck blaring videos about the evils of the Sinclair media empire, which is poised to get even bigger if the agency approves the company’s proposed merger with Tribune Media.

But that’s not all — Free Press and our allies gathered and delivered nearly 700,000 signatures in opposition to the merger.

We know that this FCC has shown little regard for the needs of the public, choosing time and time again to side with massive corporations and push for policies that harm people of color, and poor and working class folks. That’s why we need to keep turning up the heat — and the volume.
