✈️ Way To Ruin It for Everyone, Dude! |
Whether you’ve flown Spirit Airlines or witnessed regular viral videos of airport fights at the airline’s gates, the phrase “you get what you pay for” comes to mind. |
But when passengers aboard Flight 2145 from Detroit to Los Angeles got held on the plane for three hours with no explanation, the actual reason is the closest to the facepalm emoji that we’ve seen. |
Holding a ticket to the flight was 23-year-old Charles Robinson. But Robinson was late. The gate agent told him the doors were closed and that he’d missed his early-morning flight. |
Robinson then allegedly used a cell phone to call in a bomb threat to the airport as well as Flight 2145, which he’d missed. |
It’s unclear if Robinson thought the hoax threat would allow him to make his flight after all. But a passenger on the plane said the airport halted the aircraft just as it was backing away from the gate. |
After being left on the plane for three hours, “they were then asked to exit the plane without their belongings. They were then taken back to the terminal and waited an additional two hours before they could board the plane again after it was inspected and cleared by police.” |
