John Mack indicted

A grand jury charged Independence resident John Mack on eight different counts in a sweeping child sex abuse case from which the local district attorney has recused himself due to potential conflicts from the defendant’s political connections. Zion City gang case

Two alleged members of a violent Baton Rouge drug gang were indicted Wednesday on murder and attempted murder in an August double shooting in Zion City, as Joe Gyan Jr. reports.
