This week, we lost a hip-hop giant with the passing of DJ Kay Slay, the New York radio host who died of complications due to COVID-19.His impact on the genre and rap community overall is undeniable and he will be missed.

Kendrick Lamar is finally blessing us with new music as he announced his forthcoming album under the name Oklahoma (whatever that means) earlier this week.

Also, did y'all catch the "Black-ish" series finale? The ABC show that helped usher in a wave of shows that tell Black stories ended after eight seasons and honestly, I couldn't help but to shed a tear or two.

And former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Nene Leakes is suing Bravo and Andy Cohen, claiming that she was the target of a racist work environment.
