Nephron investing $215.8 million in expansion 

The expansion will add vaccine production and office space, along with a warehouse, to the pharmaceutical company’s Lexington County operations. It is expected to be completed early next year and to create 380 jobs.

S.C. HCBUs to receive $2.4 million in pandemic relief

The state’s 8 historically black colleges and universities will use allocations from the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund to upgrade hardware and purchase software, including electronic learning materials.

Governor bans late-night alcohol sales

The sale of alcoholic beverages in S.C. bars and restaurants will be banned after 11 p.m., starting Saturday night. Gov. Henry McMaster said the measure is aimed at young adults “who are rapidly contracting the virus."

Zaxby's to cut ribbon at Blythewood restaurant on Monday

The ribbon cutting, celebrating the opening of a drive-thru at 221 Blythewood Road, will take place at 9 a.m. and follow social distancing guidelines. A dining room will open at a later date.
