JOIN US HERE!_________________________________________________ Netflix's $15B Buyback, Earnings Beat Sparks Tech Surge: Can the DIA, IWM Keep Up? Stocks are up premarket, but we still have some vulnerabilities in non-tech sectors like the Dow and Russell 2000 — so there’s a big question market in blue chips and small caps. If that continues, it will begin to weigh on the Nasdaq as well, which is up strong, about 1% ahead of the open. Tech is getting a boost from very strong earnings from Netflix (NFLX), 3M (MMM) and Schwab (SCHW), which all had beats. Netflix also raised its 2025 revenue guidance, which is always great news for a stock, and it also announced a $15 billion stock buyback program. There’s also renewed optimism around AI, which could provide even more of a tailwind to tech and chip stocks. We have full clearance in the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) right now with minor resistance above — keep an eye on the $531 level. I want to see us break that and then march on toward all-time highs. The S&P 500 ETF (SPY) is almost at all-time highs and it could come right back down. But if it can break through the $606 level, it can easily set a new high.
