HBOC Week and Previvor Day 2019 During National Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Week (September 29 – October 5) and on National Previvor Day (October 2), we recognize and honor those who have been affected by hereditary breast, ovarian and related cancers. We raise awareness so others can have the life-saving information they need to make informed medical decisions. Knowledge is power! Join us for a wellness hike and picnic refreshments in Rock Creek Park to celebrate National Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) week. All are welcome!
Date: Saturday, September 28, 2019 Time and Location: Meet at 10 AM at Lot #2. Details: Free parking is available, and Lot #2 is approx 1 mile from Cleveland Park or Van Ness Metro stations (Red Line). If arriving later for just the picnic (not the hike), look for us at picnic grove #2, 27, or 28 (exact grove is unknown since we can't reserve them). Rain Date is Saturday, October 5.
