Meet Our 2021 Rosé of Merlot
Our first ever Rosé of Merlot is also our first release by winemaker Matías Kúsulas – and our favorite Desert Wind Rosé yet!!!
Fermented cool and then aged for six months in stainless steel, this 100% Rosé of Merlot begins with a beautifully reductive nose of wet stone, gunpowder flint, oregano, and dried apricot. After a few minutes, the wine opens to sweeter, riper notes of peaches, mandarin, and hints of bell pepper and jalapeño.
The mouthfeel is extremely round and juicy, with stone fruit, orange blossom, and bright acidity. This energetic wine finishes with phenomenal volume and length, remaining juicy, almost crunchy, until the end.
