Helicopter crashes on roof of NYC skyscraper; pilot killed
The crash near Times Square and Trump Tower shook the 750-foot-tall AXA Equitable building and forced office workers to flee on elevators and down stairs. The pilot was believed to be the only one aboard, and there were no other reports of injuries, authorities said.
 
Fact check: No sign of Trump-Mexico deal on farm goods
The president tweeted that he had won the agreement to benefit America's "great patriot farmers," and that U.S. sales would begin "immediately." There isn't any sign of that happening, however. Mexican officials denied that anything on agriculture was included in the deal on border security reached Friday to avert Trump's threatened tariffs.
 
Hundreds rally at State Capitol calling for peace in Sudan
Sudanese refugees and their supporters gathered in St. Paul, calling for people in the U.S. to support opposition to attacks on peaceful protesters by the Sudanese military. They fear more violence and repression to come.

This is a bad spring for humans and buffalo gnats. However, one expert sees relief from the pests in our near future.
 
Finding Victory: Speaking out for intersex girl after attack
Today, Victory is a vivacious 5-year-old with a toothy grin, blond hair and a quick mind. Victory knows her body is different from those of her mother, father or brothers, but it doesn't seem to bother her.
