We heart the Hand in Hand Someone once told me that Brighton has more pubs per square foot than London (or something like that), and I can well believe it. From hipster hangouts via chain pubs to cosy locals, there's a boozer to suit everyone in our seaside city. In her latest risograph print, Dalma Bujnovszky has perfectly captured a Kemptown institution, the well-loved Hand in Hand. A lover of Brighton's buildings, Dalma chose it for its bright colours and unusual appearance, but also - the former Kemptown resident says - because it's a really nice pub. With an in-house brewery, friendly vibes and (oh-so-Sussex) Toads table, we'll drink to that! Pick up a print here and take it to the pub for a pint. |

Also new in the shop... Always popular in the gallery, we've had a big re-stock of tableware from Brighton-based ceramicist Silvia K. Deep bowls, egg cups, jugs, beakers and mugs, we've got a huge selection to choose from in a variety of Silvia's signature glazes. Brilliant as a stylish gift, or to elevate your own dinner table, come and see for yourself in the gallery or shop the collection online. |
