New Bayou Vermilion District master plan

Happy Friday, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get to the headlines. 

The Bayou Vermilion District, whose operations include keeping the river clean and running Vermilionville, is in the process of creating a new master plan focused on its original mission: water quality.

State legislation that created the district, Hail said, put the focus on improving the water quality of the Vermilion River. The board has decided to return its focus to that mission, she said.
