Meet the Speakers

Laurie L. Prescott, MSN, RN, CCDS, CDIP, CRC, is the CDI education director with ACDIS and HCPro. Prescott serves as a full-time instructor for the CDI Boot Camp as well as a subject matter expert for ACDIS. Prescott is a frequent speaker on HCPro/ACDIS webinars and author of The Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist’s Complete Training Guide. She started her nursing career in 1985 as a graduate of the University of Vermont School of Nursing.

Allen Frady, RN, BSN, CCS, CCDS, is a CDI education specialist for HCPro, and serves as an instructor for ACDIS’ various CDI Boot Camps.Frady has 12 years’ experience as a coding and CDI consultant. He spent two years as a coding director at the Medical College of Georgia, and has experience in case management, step-down ICU, and cardiac telemetry.  He has conducted CDI education for systems such as Dignity Health, HSHS Hospital Systems, and Thomas Jefferson University.
