Join innovative librarians and educators as they showcase lessons learned from teaching in the ever-shifting landscape of in-person, hybrid, and all-remote learning starting January 26, 2021. This course offers tools and solutions that you can use to meet diverse learning needs, during the pandemic and beyond.

In the accompanying small group workshop, you’ll develop your own dynamic project-based plan to authentically engage students and combat learning loss, under the guidance of a veteran librarian who will coach you through the process. You’ll come away with new ideas and actionable plans to help engage students in the new world of blended-learning.

Outcomes:

  • Create a plan of action for how to engage your students through hybrid, distance, or in-person learning
  • Learn best practices for collaborating with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum and programming to your students
  • Develop an understanding of project-based learning and how to apply it to your library curriculum
  • Generate program ideas for your library based on models of successful blended learning
  • Compile tools and resources to revamp your curriculum, whether you’re working with students in-person or remotely
