| | New Customer Rewards Site Up, Ties in With First Mobile Game | Nintendo has just launched My Nintendo, their replacement for their old rewards program Club Nintendo. It's nicely designed, and besides offering rewards for game purchases, it ties in neatly with Nintendo's first mobile game, Miitomo, which launched in North America on the same day.
Miitomo is more social app than game, and right now I have yet to convince any friends to install it (even though it's free) so I haven't experienced what it's really meant to do. But it's cute. | | Charles Herold Wii Games Expert |

| Upcoming Wii U Games - Indies | This week sees the debut of Lovely Planet, imaginatively billed as "a first-person shooter gun ballet," the puzzle game Super Robo Mouse, which looks a little more ambitious than the casual games its publisher RCMadiax typically puts out, and Epic Dumpster Bear, a platformer that got more press than it probably deserved by announcing a goofy name on a slow news day. | |
