Data shows COVID-19's impact on Black communities

New data from the S.C. Institute of Medicine and Public Health and DHEC shows that Black people, who account for 27% of S.C.’s population, represent 49% of COVID-19 hospitalizations and 45% of deaths.

The companies were chosen in a partnership between SC Biz News, the S.C. Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. Rankings will be revealed in an online ceremony next month.
