Join us to gain the building-blocks for actioning solidarity in social justice at your library.

Learn the fundamentals of justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-oppression to work in solidarity with all members of your staff and community.  This course will focus on exploring the issues and their context, including centering on the lived experiences and priorities of those most directly impacted, and finding appropriate ways to respond to complex situations. You’ll learn how to be a co-conspirator with members of marginalized groups, including BIPOC, the disability community, the queer community, the undocumented and underserved to ensure that your library’s equity work is truly inclusive.

Developed and led by experts in the field, this three-week program includes live sessions on Tuesday, April 26, May 3 and May 10, from 2:00-4:00 pm ET with an asynchronous, facilitator-led workshop in which you’ll define and complete a personal project that inspires action in your community.

Can’t make a live session? No worries!

All sessions will be recorded for on-demand viewing.

You’ll also have access to our foundational bonus content—rich supporting materials you can explore at your own pace, including readings, activities, videos and a series of webinars—from Library Journal and School Library Journal editors and contributors.
