Good afternoon, Baton Rouge. Here's what's making news.
with Kelly P. Kissel | Metro editorTomorrow marks three weeks until Election Day, and early voting starts this Friday. Blake Paterson from City Hall spoke to the major candidates for mayor-president and reports today how they would tackle blight and littering in the city. I don't recall school bus trips ever being fun, but I was never the driver. According to Baton Rouge Police, an 11-year-old took a school bus on a joy ride during the weekend, crossing parts of the city behind the wheel. Today we learned that no one is absolutely sure who the bus belongs to. And in Washington today, hearings opened on whether a Louisiana native will join the U.S. Supreme Court. As expected, it was quite the scene. If you're power's not back on, help's on the way. Details below, along with other stories. Thanks for reading! |
