21 years after it first entered the cultural lexicon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being rebooted for a new generation. Series creator Joss Whedon will executive produce the series, which is being written by Monica Owusu-Breen. Owusu-Breen previously worked on Agents of Shield, in addition to developing and showrunning Midnight, Texas on NBC. A woman of color leading the series? All of the yes.

jessica lange
The theme for season 8 of American Horror Story has been announced, but I honestly don't give a shit unless Jessica Lange is returning to the series. That theme is "Apocalypse", by the way, and will feature a mash-up of the worlds of both Murder House (season 1) and Coven (season 3).

Dear Fat-Shamers, Please Don’t Make Me Defend Fox News

neil cavuto, fox news, fox business, fat-shaming
I have plenty of issues with Fox News and the people that appear on the network. There are lots of reasons why I don't feel like they're qualified to be on television, let alone on such an influential platform. But physical appearance doesn't factor into it. Someone's weight has no bearing on their ability to deliver news (or in Fox's case, "news") and if you have a problem with someone's words or thoughts, what kind of sense does it make to attack their appearance? It's meaningless and lazy.

Thor: Ragnarok as an Anime Intro Will Make You a Happier Person

Taika Waititi's candy-colored supergod romp Thor: Ragnarok has been given the anime intro treatment! This video is the first thing that made me smile this week and stop thinking, for a marvelous one minute and twenty-one seconds about how the President of the United States is almost certainly compromised by Russia and that Vladimir Putin wakes up crying with laughter every day.
