Hi ,

From climate protests to the global pandemic, the last year has been an unprecedented and challenging one for the aviation sector.

Next year, CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) is due to come into force, committing the sector to “stabilising” its emissions at 2020 levels via carbon offsetting. In March of this year the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) made its final decisions on the eligibility of offsetting credits.

Our new CORSIA Factsheet summarises the scheme and how it works, the most recent decisions on eligible credits, and some of the hurdles still to overcome before launch in 2021.

Kindest regards,
