| We just added a new videolecture, Kratom: A Botanical With Traditional Use in Asia To Treat Pain and Opioid Use Problems, to our online continuing education series. The lecturer, Dr. Christopher McCurdy of the University of Florida, is an internationally recognized expert on the kratom plant. In his lecture, he discusses the traditional medicinal use of kratom in Asia, the use of kratom in the United States, and the chemistry and metabolism of mitragynine, the most abundant kratom alkaloid. As with all of the videolectures in our series, Dr. McCurdys lecture is free and is approved for CME credit for physicians and CEU credit for nurses. |
