New limits on 'noncompete' rules for doctors

BY JESSICA WILLIAMS | Capitol News Bureau Editor

Hemp-THC: Louisiana lawmakers are a step away from banning hemp THC products, James Finn reports, a move that comes years after a state lawmaker vowed - falsely - that the products would not get users high. The market has since grown into a $33 million industry.

Public records: After a chorus of public criticism, including from former Gov. John Bel Edwards, the Senate will likely kill a bid to shield Gov. Jeff Landry's office from the state's public records law, Meghan Friedmann, Gordon Russell and James Finn have reported.
