[New post] A first look at Leominster Priory

The sad passing of the wonderful Mary Bartholomew (once SPCK manager in Carlisle) took us to Leominster Priory today. It wasn't the occasion for much crawling, but what a magnificent space it is, even if it is the slightly hotch-potch remnant of even greater glory. And the Romanesque carvings by the west door are simply magnificent. A place to go back to.
