| Cambridge City of Sanctuary is busy organising an event for Interfaith Week (13-20 November). Details to be circulated shortly - we hope you’ll come along. In the meantime, below is a reminder of upcoming refugee themed events and two appeals for assistance. Meeting venues needed - City of Sanctuary and the Cambridge Refugee Resettlement Campaign (CRRC) hold regular committee meetings and social gatherings for refugees and sanctuary seekers. If your faith centre is able to provide a space for the occasional meeting and/or social gathering please could you email Lianne on ljparrett@yahoo.com or ring 0747 677 8044. Committee meetings are generally held on a weeknight and refugee social gatherings are held monthly on a Saturday afternoon. Thank you! CamCRAG Calais emergency donation appeal You may have been reading about the planned demolition of the camp in Calais. Because of these plans CamCRAG have launched a big fundraising appeal and are also requesting donations of practical items to take to Calais to help with the transition.
