[New post] Hearing God’s call to lay ministry

We had to round up chairs from the garden as well as the house last night to seat all our two dozen enquirers and their hosts at the second “Party with a Purpose” for exploring Licensed Lay Ministry in the C of E in our diocese. What a lovely and diverse group of people they were too, with an age spread I think of over 50 years, and from every corner of Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk. Not all of them of course will decide that being an LLM is right for them, but many will, and all of them will have a calling from God of some kind. It’s the ultimate win-win, and we are committed as a diocese to doing our very best for every one of them.
