The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that no government or institution can tackle infectious diseases crises on their own and that multilateral actions must be improved. This is why pandemic prevention and the fight against diseases crises are being discussed in the international Geneva arena right now, with the so-called zero draft of the pandemic treaty to be ready for negotiations by WHO Member States this month. This is what we want to discuss in the #2 edition of our Global Labs project Protecting the world from future infectious diseases crises, taking place throughout the day of the 24.03.2023 in Geneva. Through the project, students from the university of Geneva and the Graduate Institute have the opportunity to collaborate and exchange their ideas with professionals from the International Geneva and to co-write the final project output. Registrations are open until 09.03.2023 so make sure to reserve your spot here! |
