The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is participating in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Science Education Partnership Awards (PAR-20-153).
This program supports Pre-K to grade 12 or informal science education activities that: - Enhance the diversity of the biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research workforce
- Foster a better understanding of NIH-funded research and its public health implications
Applications that target topics that cannot be addressed by existing school, community, or informal science education activities are encouraged. NCCIH is specifically interested in supporting activities that provide exposure to research on complementary health approaches and advance research on whole person health. Programs should align with NCCIHs strategic objective to support research training and career development opportunities to increase the diversity and number of well-trained scientists conducting rigorous, cutting-edge research on complementary and integrative health practices.
The deadline for applications is July 13, 2022. |
