Support the Royal Canadian Geographical Society with every bid!
The 2022 RCGS virtual silent auction is open for bids and some special items have just been added!

As one of Canada's most well-known writers, Margaret Atwood is an internationally recognized novelist, literary critic, poet, essayist, and environmental advocate. She is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and the author of The Handmaid's Tale, the futuristic dystopian novel that made its way to the screen as a hit television series in 2016.

This year, the RCGS is pleased to showcase seven auction items donated by Atwood herself, all available on the Silent Auction website. In addition to the featured items below, you can bid on a Graeme Gibson novel collection, a signed copy of Dearly and a copy of The Illustrated Journals of Susanna Moodie signed by both Atwood and Charles Pachter. Handwritten notes, tea towels and first-edition copies are also included with several auction items. And of course, there are many other amazing trips, experiences and unique items available. The auction closes Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. EST, so don’t wait!

The Royal Canadian Geographical Society gratefully acknowledges the generosity of those who donated trips, experiences and items to support our fundraising efforts.
