DID YOU KNOW ... ?

YouTubers love to flirt with jail time. Remember when Jake Paul annoyed his neighbors with 24/7 parties, even jumping on top of a news van? Now, the Stokes Twins are making headlines for a fake bank robbery prank. 🏦

Alan and Alex Stokes are 23-year-old twins who rose to YouTube fame through prank videos. In 2019, they pretended to be bank robbers, running up to strangers and trying to get an Uber driver to help them make a getaway.

It was all a joke — but these costly lies had them facing a maximum of five years in prison. 😱

The twins skirted past the prison sentence. Instead, they’ll have 160 hours of community service and a year of probation to think over their actions. Oh, and of course they'll have to pay restitution. The police want in on that sweet, lucrative YouTube cash!
