Afrotech in Austin

The Afrotech Conference is just around the corner — in Austin, Texas this November — and I must admit, I'm eager to join in on the excitement! While I haven't attended before, I've been closely following everything on Instagram, and let me tell you: It seems like one of the most exhilarating tech events of the year.

From what I've gathered on Instagram, the conference is more than just a typical gathering. It's a powerful movement that celebrates and uplifts Black entrepreneurs, professionals, technologists and others in the tech industry. And you know what I absolutely love? It has a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, which is incredibly important for creating a more equitable tech space.

The diversity of offerings at Afrotech is impressive! With a lineup ranging from panel discussions to immersive hands-on workshops (and plenty of networking opportunities), there appears to be something for everyone.

I'm confident that the vibrant community in Baltimore will show up in full force to make the most of this event. To that end, are any of you planning to attend? Let us know by replying to this email.
