The Stock Exchange of Malaysia have recently announced the launch of BursaSustain, SE Asia’s first knowledge hub dedicated to sustainability and corporate governance in Malaysia. Corporate Citizenship were commissioned to help develop the site with the aim of building a quality and sustainable capital market, leading on corporate governance and sustainability. As lead content provider for the portal, we are working with BursaSustain to provide comprehensive, up-to-date information and trends to further integrate responsible business practices amongst their key stakeholders.

Corporate Citizenship co-hosted an event with sister agency CSM on 25th April 2018 with guest panellists Seb Coe, Chairman of CSM Sport & Entertainment; Liz Nicholl, CEO of UK Sport; Justin King, former CEO of Sainsbury’s and Martin George, Customer Director at Waitrose. Moderated by Corporate Citizenship CEO Neil Davy, the evening’s discussion focused on identifying how sport and business can co-create authentic partnerships that create lasting impact for businesses and rights holders alike.

Taking action on the SDGs:
Lessons learned from Sembcorp Industries

Last month, Corporate Citizenship's team in Singapore were joined by special guest speaker Gwendolyn Loh, Senior Manager, Strategic Communications & Sustainability from Sembcorp Industries for our latest Knowledge Series, discussing the current state of corporate action on the SDGs. Sharing findings from our annual practitioner survey, our research found only a modest increase in the number of global companies reporting that they are actively looking at the implications of the SDGs for their business – from 40% of respondents in 2015 to 46% in 2017. Gwen shared Sembcorp's sustainability journey and the practical steps they've taken to approach the SDGs.
