BY DOUG GRAHAM | Staff writer Tim Morgan has created a warning system that allows law enforcement involved in pursuits to send real-time alerts through an app; the notifications could prompt residents in the area to stop driving or be on the lookout for speeding vehicles. About 30 police departments and other emergency agencies in Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Illinois are using the Digital Siren technology. Morgan plans to speak at an upcoming legislative task force meeting in Louisiana.
