Another bad crop from extreme weather. The high cost of seed, fuel, repair labor, insurance, interest, chemicals, and machinery along with huge negative basis and check off have made me lose a lot of money the past few years. At least we have competitive export prices. 36 years of farming and now I quit. Let someone else pay the bills, if they can.
