New training available from the Building Safety Regulator
The Building Safety Act 2022 names HSE as the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) in England. The Act contains a lot of new information and understanding how it fits together is critical for dutyholders to ensure they understand their responsibilities and the responsibilities of others.
On 1 October 2023, a series of important milestones in the BSR regulatory programme came into effect:
BSR is now the building control body for building work involving higher risk buildings (HRBs) Registration of HRBs is now mandatory Registers open for building control inspectors and building control approvers
