Throughout its 90-year history, the Society has been associated with, and supported, some of the biggest names and most daring feats in exploration. RCGS x Roots Roberta Bondar mission patch t-shirt This tee celebrates Canada's first female astronaut and the first neurologist in space, Roberta Bondar, who flew aboard space shuttle Discovery on mission STS-42 from January 22 to 30, 1992. RCGS x Roots Wade Davis expedition t-shirt Author and anthropologist Wade Davis has dedicated his life to researching and celebrating the ethnosphere: “The sum total of all thoughts and intuitions, myths and beliefs, ideas and inspirations brought into being by the human imagination since the dawn of consciousness.” This shirt is screen-printed with a colourful expedition patch designed in honour of Davis’ pioneering work and features our name on the sleeve.
