Deal reached on emergency coronavirus package after days of negotiations between lawmakers, Trump administration, Pelosi announces

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spent days negotiating the deal as pressure mounted for the government to come up with a way to ease fears over the spread of the deadly coronavirus, which has halted many parts of public life, forced the closure of schools and sent markets into a plunge.
