| Paul Manafort, the operative who helped guide Donald Trump to the presidency, was sentenced for the second time on Wednesday, after pleading guilty to two conspiracy charges. A federal judge in Washington sentenced him to 73 months in prison, most which he must serve in addition to a 47-month sentence imposed last week by another judge in Virginia, where he was found guilty of tax- and bank-fraud charges. His total sentence is about 7.5 years. |
