Federal judge says former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort lied to the FBI

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled Wednesday that Manafort violated his plea agreement when he provided misleading information to the FBI and special counsel Robert Mueller. Manafort promised to cooperate with Mueller's investigation in exchange for a reduced sentence. The judge said that deal is off.
