Global COVID-19 deaths reach horrific 2 million milestone, roughly equivalent to the entire population of Nebraska

Globally, it took eight months to hit 1 million deaths from the coronavirus. Less than four months later, the world reached 2 million deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. The U.S. is projected to near 500K deaths by February.
